Marty Beller is a New York City-based composer/drummer/percussionist who has a long history of collaboration with dance, film, theater, TV and pop music. He has composed and performed with international dance companies Jennifer Muller/The Works , Sean Curran Company , Chet Walker/8and ah one , Julio Bocca/Ballet Argentino, RhythMEK , Heidi Latsky , Rebudal Dance, Alice Tierstein/Young Dancemakers , Andrew Jannetti and Dancers , Bill Hastings, Kathy Wildberger , Kelli Wicke Davis and Roger Williams University Dance.

Marty is the drummer for Grammy award winner They Might Be Giants . He has recorded and toured with Nettwerk recording artist Ivy , Image recording artist Stew , Unfiltered recording artist Brookville, Warner Bros. Recording artist Michelle Lewis , Polygram recording artist Daniel Cartier, Bolivian singer Hilario Soto and Higher Culture , the 14 piece rock orchestra All Gods Children . He was co-writer, co-producer and drummer for Meow whose debut album "Goalie for the Other Team," was released by Enemy Records.

Marty has released two CDs on the Found Sounds label. Leap: Music for dance and film and Breathe: Percussion music for dance and movement with Roderick Jackson.
